About Randy Black

    



A 10th generation Texan and citizen of the Chickasaw Nation, Randy Black sold his first feature story and photographs to a major metropolitan daily newspaper when he was 16. 
    Since then, his stories and photos have been published around the world is The New York Times, National Geographic, The Dallas Morning News, the Los Angeles Times, the Houston Chronicle and other publications.
    Black has been a Fellow within Stanford University's World Association of International Studies (WAIS) since 1998. WAIS is a distinguished global group of scholars interested in historical, economic, political, religious and educational affairs. WAIS is affiliated with Stanford's Hoover Institution, a public policy think tank.
    He is also a member of the Society of Industry Leaders, a select group of industry professionals and thought leaders who offer consultation with global firms involved in Technology, Telecommunications, Energy, Financial Services and Aerospace & Defense.
    Black has been honored by the Associated Press, the Public Relations Society of America, the Press Club of Dallas, the Austin Headliner's Club, the Society of American Travel Writers, the United Way, the National Press Photographers Association, the International Television Association and the International Association of Business Communicators.
